As my university days are coming to a close, so are many of my currently on-going projects.
There's an arcade racing game in the works, an endless runner game for Android and a few others.
Above all those projects, however, is Frame: Critical Damage - the game that I have been yearning to make for a long time. The space combat simulation rogue-like of my dreams is in the beta stages, with several final polishing touches and bug fixes holding it back from release.
The game features procedural generation, fearsome AI, hundreds of items and unique progression mechanics that make the game unlike any others that I have played.
That is why I made this game - because it was nowhere to be found and I wanted to play it, and university year-long project was a perfect excuse to make it. And now it's here, and I love it.
The next month will also be intense - exams, dissertation, more development across 3 projects and trying to get into the game industry, one way or another. Looking forward to it and sharing my experiences.
