Prototype Development
Over the past few years, I have been developing many different game prototypes, both digital and physical, spanning all sorts of genres and gameplay mechanics. Some of these prototypes have been developed within companies (including one that was greenlit for production), and many of them in my free time as a hobby.
I am very passionate about multiplayer gaming, and as such, many of these prototypes are multiplayer using all sorts networking frameworks - Photon, TCP/UDP, Websockets, DarkRift, FishNet, SpacetimeDB, and Mirror.
My most recent prototypes were:
A multiplayer FPS controller with deterministic multiplayer using FishNet, an intricate gun handling/assembly system inspired by ‘Escape from Tarkov’, and full IK support
A singleplayer genre fusion game inspired by ‘Clash of Clans’ and ‘Autochess’, featuring a completely modular card system, and a control scheme that puts UX at the forefront
An MMO foundation using SpacetimeDB as a server and database - very promising tech that made development of the multiplayer aspect very intuitive, and am planning to explore it further
I’ve done many more experiments than what’s shown here, in various languages and frameworks, but these above are the most recent.
